Starting with the selection of only the finest quality raw materials, only high-quality steel billets are selected as raw material inputs, which ensures that our quality-tested steel bars have the strength and flexibility for the structural application in which they will be used.

Each lot of raw material is checked for its chemical composition, ensuring compliance with industrial standards before permitting entry into the production process.

Tehri Steel uses the most advanced technology in thermo-mechanical treatment and produces TMT with a unique mix of strength and ductility.

Our processing ensures that all of our bars undergo optimal heat treatment in carefully controlled environments, leading to optimal tensile strength, bendability, and protection against environmental impacts.

All of our Tehri Gold products comply with standards in IS: 1786.

Important Quality Tests Carried out on Every Bar

For overall reliability, Tehri Steel subjects its quality tested steel bars to rigorous testing in the following:

  1. Testing of mechanical strength and elongation
  2. Bend and re-bend tests for bendability evaluation
  3. Assessments on corrosion durability
  4. Checks for Dimensional Consistency for Uniformity
  5. Verification of Tensile strength as per IS: 1786
  6. Traceability labelling
